For this project, we were asked to design a much needed information graphic in our community. In the city of Davis, students rely heavily on bike transportation which is why bikes are my focus for this project. This is a closer look at the individual parts of my bike information poster. Unfortunately, because we had to make our project to scale these minimized pictures do not do it justice.

The final project ended up being 24in by 36in.
This section is the Bike Care Checklist, it breaks down the most important rules and maintenance checks for bicyclists.
Since Davis is incredibly bike friendly, I chose to include a map of the campus showing the location of important bike services provided free of charge.
I also included information for students in need of bike repairs and want to get it fix either on campus, off-campus, or on their own.
I designed my own bike using several images found on the web and created my own custom illustrator bike. This section indicates the bike anatomy for those of us who don't know the technical parts of a bike.
Here I included a helpful section on how to repair a flat tire. I did an extensive survey which indicated that flat tires were the most common problems in Davis. The illustrations follow the step by step instructions.
Here is the finished product colleged together.

This side faces the tool station for easier reading.
